Zotarolimus, analogue of everolimus, incorpotated in stents.

Zotarolimus is an analogue of everolimus of which it shares the properties. It is used in medical device, incorporated in stents. The stents impregnated with zotarolimus obtained the FDA approval.

A clinical trial published in the NEJM July 8, 2010 comparing stents with everolimus and stents with zotarolimus, shows that both give quite similar results.
